Aman Verma's loss is Shekhar Suman's gain. In about a week's time, Shekhar will be seen as the host of <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> on SaharaOne alongside co-host Mandira Bedi. Aman had entered the show some weeks after Mandira launched the interactive game show on the channel earlier this year, as he was busy till then with the finals of <em>Indian Idol</em> on Sony. He brought in a distinctive style of hosting, going 'Balle Balle' whenever a viewer got the right answer.

One day. That's all it took Sahara One's <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> to get back on air, live. Torrential Tuesday washed out the live one hour game show off the programme schedule of the channel, but by Wednesday, the Mandira-Aman hosted show was back on its feet. No mean feat this, considering the massive coordination of electricity supply, telephone lines, call centres it necessitates. The task becomes all the more remarkable when one considers the fact that Film City still has no power, and no other shoot has resumed at the sprawling media city in suburban Goregaon.

It's going to be swanky and stylish...the stakes on SaharaOne's interactive show <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> will get bigger and smarter as it shifts to a brand new studio come July.

Aman Verma will co-host <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> on Sahara One from Thursday, 10 March. While Mandira was impressive, Aman is set to rock the floor. Aman and Mandira are scheduled to host two episodes each per week. This might deprive Aman and Mandira's fans of seeing their favourite hosts together. Wouldn't the audience have liked it more if Aman would be with <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> since its launch? "I was busy with <em>Indian Idol</em>," says Aman as matter of fact. Aman is missing <em>Indian Idol</em> and hopes <em>Dial One Aur Jeeto</em> will fill the void.
