It's going to be swanky and stylish...the stakes on SaharaOne's interactive show Dial One Aur Jeeto will get bigger and smarter as it shifts to a brand new studio come July. The show that generated phenomenal response of 41 lakh callers in the first four days itself after launch in February this year is now changing its format and look to keep the younger generation glued to the show. The show will now move to a larger set up in Mumbai's Film City with graphics and set designing of international standards by Acropolis. The show which now has a one hour slot (from 8pm to 9pm) from 20 June, will now have a multi camera setup. "Yes, the game in getting bigger on Dial One...We have newer formats in the sense that the prizes are going to roll over to the next caller and then the participant will have the option of winning a houseful of consumer durables," says SaharaOne COO Purnendu Bose. This is not all. A fourth round has been introduced where there will be a bumper prize --- a Maruti Alto. The show will also have lots of tracks and pans, generally a lot of movement and viewers can now see more of Mandira Bedi in flowing skirts and trendy pants. "I really am enjoying doing this show. It's great and the response is overwhelming. This is a show that gets spontaneous reactions from people and now that it's getting bigger, it's going to get better," says Mandira, who has been using phrases like Mr Computer and Kya aap taiyar hain?, perhaps in anticipation of Star Plus' KBC that's lurking round the corner. Is KBC a competitor and is this facelift happening keeping in mind the new season of KBC? "Absolutely not. We are two different genres. One is a quiz show and the other is a live action game show, and we are not even running at similar time slots --- Dial One... runs from Monday to Thursday and KBC runs from Friday to Sunday...where is the competition?" asserts Purnendu. Adds co-host Aman Verma, " I think the revamped show will bring in a lot of younger viewers." Meanwhile, the show will get peppier with celebrity guests and foot tapping background score...so don't be surprised if you see Mandira and Aman sporting a completely different look and wooing audiences.
