"I am trying to give Jigyasa a new life"

After playing a range of characters, Jaya Bhattacharya aka Payal of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has replaced vicious Ashwini Kalsekar (Jigyasa) of Kasamh Se. Talk about the character and the actor says "though Payal was controlled, sophisticated, manipulative and calculative, Jigyasa is altogether a different character in terms of her sensibilities. She is more real than Payal and her behaviour is the outcome of the situations in her life. She is not complex and conniving as Payal's character." Rakshanda to play Roshni Chopra in Kasamh Se

Zee's Kasamh Se has given enough reasons to the audience to stay glued to the series, no matter what! Now it gives another reason - Rakshanda Khan enters the track of the soap as Roshni Chopra. If that name gives you a sense of deja vu, fret not - Roshni's the very same who plays Pia on the same show. "Her character is that of Jai Walia's ex-flame prior to Sonali. Balaji battles time to put Hum Paanch back on track

The Hum Paanch sets, badly ravaged by a fire that broke out on November, are unlikely to be recreated in the same grandiose splendour that you saw in the initial few episodes. Balaji Telefilms has definitely overcome the incident which took place early this month but the dilemma persists. The three bedrooms and the hall which were affected leaving nothing but ashes, cannot be refurbished. Same is the case with sets of Kasamh Se, a show which is still to come out of Balaji shell. They are now looking out for a new set for Hum Paanch.
