For those of you who came in late, Ekta Kapoor is hunting for a replacement for Prachi Desai to play Bani in <em> Kasamh Se </em>. The producer, reportedly, was contemplating on three actresses Nausheen Ali Sardar, Gurdeep Kohli and Pallavi Kulkarni.

While the search for Prachi Desai’s replacement continues, Ekta Kapoor’s <em> Kasamh Se</em> has received a shot in the arm with the return of Roshni Chopra. The pretty actress will be returning as Pia. We called up Roshni, who wasn’t available but it was her close aide Naeem who confirmed the news “Yes, Roshni has been shooting for <em> Kasamh Se</em> for the past couple of days.”

Ekta’s blue eyed actress Prachi Desai’s exit from <em> Kasamh Se</em> has left the producer in a dilemma. It seems that Ekta Kapoor has been hunting for the right face to fill in the vacuum created by Prachi. She has assigned actor-writer Bobby Bhonsle with the job of finding the right replacement. Reportedly Bobby has shown Ekta some ten profiles but Ekta didn’t approve of any. Bobby says, “Yes, I have shown her some 10 possible candidates including Miss Nepal and Miss Bangalore but Ekta is unable to find the right face. She wants someone who looks like girl next door.”

And the biggest is having to quit her serials…atleast until she completes <em> Rock On</em>. The news that has made headlines is that Prachi has quit her mentor Ekta Kapoor’s serial. It is a visibly upset Prachi who spoke to tellychakkar.

Roshni out, Pallavi in… If sources are to believed, Roshni Chopra aka Pia has quit the show. To fill the space, the team of <em>Kasamh Se</em>. has roped in Pallavi Subhas of <em> Karam Apna Apna</em> fame. To put more Roshni on the news we called up the sizzling actress. "You should go and ask those people who say I'm out of the show. I'm very much part of the show it's just that I had to take a break for some personal reasons," she retorts with a tinge of annoyance.

Those who're dying to see Mr. Bajaj back in <em> Kasautii Zindagi Kay ,</em>have to wait for a few more months. It seems the actor does not have dates for the show as he's busy with<em> Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa </em>along with Kyunki. "I did meet Ekta a couple of times for the same but the details are yet to be finalized. However, I'm keen on playing Mr. Bajaj again as I owe everything to <em> Kasautii</em>. But, currently I'm too busy to take up any other show. Maybe I will start shooting for it after a month or so."

The word is out. Ashwini Khalsekar, who won lots of accolades last year with her vampish act as Jigyasa in <em> Kasamh Se</em>, is back with this Balaji show. She has quit the Zee daily a few months back and the shoes of her negative character were filled in by Jaya Bhattacharya. When queried earlier, Ashwini chose to keep mum but now she has finally admitted to her return. "I've already shot with them but can't delve into more details, owing to my contractual obligations," said Ashwini.
