MUMBAI: Anjali confronts Rupa Rani, demanding she reveal what really happened on the day of Padma’s murder. Rupa Rani claims ignorance and tries to leave, but Anjali’s friends block her exit. Anjali warns that she won’t let her go until she confesses.

Rupa Rani retaliates, boasting about her powerful connections—a police inspector and Chandrabhan Thakur—and warns Anjali not to detain her. Unfazed, Anjali records the conversation. She then declares, “So, you know Chandrabhan Thakur,” and reveals she has video evidence for court. After Rupa Rani leaves, the colony members ask Anjali her next move. She replies, “We must wait for Padma to recover. Then, I’ll go to her.”
Meanwhile, a nurse lures Nurse Ratna away, claiming “Sir” is calling. Once Ratna leaves, Chandrabhan’s henchman swaps Padma’s medicine with poison. When Ratna returns, confused about the false summons, she prepares to administer the injection.
Just in time, Anjali intervenes, insisting Ratna verify the medicine. Upon checking, Ratna realizes it’s a lethal dose. Shocked, she claims she had the correct antibiotics and doesn’t know how it was switched.

Furious, Anjali calls Pankaj, berating him for the lack of security—no police guard outside Padma’s room and an attempted poisoning. Pankaj is stunned, but when Anjali accuses him of failing his duty, he angrily threatens legal action. Anjali fires back, refusing to back down.
