MUMBAI: The episode starts with Prem asking Rahi and Moti Baa if everything is fine. Moti Baa explains that she was guiding Rahi to help her adjust. Prem questions Moti Baa about her inability to understand Prathana and whether she can see Gautam’s rude behavior. He expresses frustration that despite Anupama and Rahi exposing Gautam, the Kotharis refuse to accept the truth. As Rahi feels dizzy, Prem urges her to rest, but she insists on attending to the guests. Prem, concerned for her well-being, tells her to sleep while hugging Anupama’s sari.

Meanwhile, the guests demand Vasundhara call Rahi. Prem informs them that Rahi is unwell and resting. A lady remarks that Vasundhara scared Rahi so much that she became dizzy, while another sarcastically suggests that Vasundhara should write a book on controlling daughters-in-law. Irritated, Vasundhara dismisses the guests and suspects that Rahi is faking her illness to retaliate. She further believes that Anupama has influenced Rahi with her dramatic ways. Later, Prem watches over Rahi as she sleeps, reading poetry to her before dozing off beside her.
At the same time, Anupama visits the central jail, feeling uneasy among the prisoners. The commissioner reassures her, explaining that they stare because they rarely see women. He notes that many promised to visit but backed out due to fear. Anupama admits her own fear but finds solace in the thought that Lord Krishna was born in a jail, making it not entirely a dreadful place. She delivers a speech on Annapurna, and the commissioner encourages her to motivate the prisoners.
As she discusses the schedule, she appears distracted. The commissioner questions her, and she reflects on the possibility of innocent prisoners suffering behind bars. He emphasizes that the court relies on evidence. When she inquires about dangerous inmates, she is introduced to Raghav, leaving her in shock.

Back at home, Rahi wakes up, realizing she missed her wedding night. Prem reassures her, but as Moti Baa calls him, Rahi hides. Vasundhara asks about Rahi and instructs her to prepare for her pheli rasoi ritual. Determined to make amends, Rahi decides to apologize for missing the earlier ceremony. Meanwhile, after leaving the jail, Anupama breathes heavily, salutes the staff, and reflects on Rahi’s first day at the Shah house.
