MUMBAI: Ira informs Saraswati that her saree and necklace are missing, emphasizing that Saraswati had gifted them to her. Saraswati questions Rupa about the saree’s whereabouts, but Rupa lies, claiming she checked the almira twice but didn’t find it. Ira pretends to cry, suggesting someone stole it because they didn’t want her to wear it. Saraswati calls the servants, who deny seeing it. Ira then suggests asking Apollena, as she was home all day and might have noticed something.
Meanwhile, Apollena, unaware of the situation, wears the saree and imagines Shlok helping her with the necklace and applying vermilion on her hairline. Saraswati calls Apollena downstairs, and as she appears wearing the saree, Ira acts distressed. Saraswati demands to know how she dared to take it without permission, questioning how she accessed the almira without a key. Apollena is shocked, while Ira accuses her of stealing. Vijayan further insults her, comparing her to her father, who he claims stole documents. Apollena defends herself, stating her family is honest and not greedy, but Vijayan threatens to call the police.

Vedh accuses Apollena of stealing the necklace as well. Ira calls the police, who arrive and begin treating Apollena like a thief. She protests, demanding evidence and refusing to put a private call on speaker. Girdhar consoles her over the phone, but she lies, saying she is fine. The inspector insists on searching her room. When they find the saree in her almira, Apollena loses her temper. Ira then admits she placed it there. The inspector asks Saraswati if she saw Apollena steal, and she denies it. When pressed, Rupa recalls seeing Ira hide the saree in Apollena’s cupboard.
