MUMBAI:Popular Adult film actress Kagney Linn Kater has shockingly died after she committed suicide. The tragic news was shared by Kagney’s friends online and was later shared by an online portal that she committed suicide on Thursday. As per TMZ, Kagney died on Monday at her residence in Parma, OH.
Kagney’s friends shared a heartbreaking ode to the actress on the GoFundMe page, confirming her death and the circumstances. Her friends wrote, “a performer, a singer, a dancer, a daughter and a friend. She first came to our Cleveland studio in November of 2019, freshly moved out of LA, rearing and ready to jump back into pole, in a brand new community where she knew no one and no one knew her.”
The post read, “Unfortunately, despite all of her many impressive accomplishments and talents, Kagney struggled with mental health issues as the years passed by.”
The post was a plea to help Kagney’s mother Tina with the memorial expenses and also to raise awareness about mental health. The plea also mentioned that any excess funds raised would go to the cause of animal rescue.
The GoFundMe page read, “We are fundraising on behalf of Tina, Kagney's mom, for the cost of Kagney's memorial and all financial expectations associated with it.”
Kagney started her adult film career in 2000’s but in 2019 she decided to relocate from the Los Angeles so that she would focus on pole dancing. She eventually gained a lot of popularity in Ohio Studios for pole dancing and slowly started her own studio.
One of her friends added on the page, “Even in her darkest days, however, she still showed up to the studio, always ready to learn, contribute, better herself in whatever small way she could manage.”
