Shantanu Maheshwari, who is seen in the Channel V show Dil Dostii Dance would love to watch the Indian version of Big Bang Theory, F.R.I.E.N.D.S and How I Met Your Mother. In a chat with Tellychakkar.com, the actor talks about his FAV Shows on television. After a hard day’s work, which is the channel do you usually watch? We generally do not get time to watch TV but whenever free I do watch shows on Star World. Fiction shows that you are watching currently on TV? My own show Dil Dostii Dance (smiles). Apart from these I like watching Comedy Nights with Kapil (Colors) and Comedy Circus (Sony Entertainment Television). Reality shows that catch your attention? Of course it would be Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Colors); I think the show provides good entertainment and I watch it because it also involves dancing. Personality you like on TV? My favourite personality would be Karan Singh Grover. I think he is an amazing actor. I have worked with him and feel that he is a very good person too. Any foreign shows you feel can be made in India? I would love to watch the Indian version of Big Bang Theory, F.R.I.E.N.D.S and How I Met Your Mother. It would be nice to see who the characters are and how they act considering the Hollywood template. Given a chance, which TV series will you like to be a part of: Any dance reality show. Also, I would love to try my hands at doing stand-up comedy shows; so yes it would be Comedy Circus.
