Acting is simple, but not easy!

If you are an actor, giving a great performance is your chief concern, but acting isn't as easy as saying a few lines and looking directly into the camera.

Talented actor Hiten Tejwani, who is known for his powerful acting talent in shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb, Pavitra Rishta, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, Balika Vadhu and Gangaa, shares some tips that will not only be helpful for actors, but for newcomers as well.

First and the most important thing is to be a good human being. It’s the core essence of any profession you are in.

 

The second factor is that you need to believe the character you choose to enact. It begins and ends with you. Once you trust, other too will start living the character.

 

Acting is reacting, so listen carefully to your co performer in a scene. Don't just become a parrot waiting to blurt out the lines. You have to build chemistry and complement each other in a scene.  

 

I truly believe that reading the whole scene properly and understanding what the writer wants to convey is very important.

 

Lastly, let your imagination go wild, imagine beyond your way. It will help you enact the same scene or same situation in a different technique.
