Bengali TV actors 'happening' New Year plans

New Year is all about new hopes, new beginning and new life...

No matter how disappointing our past was, it is wise to take inspiration from it. Cartoonist Bil Keane had rightly expressed it, “Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.”

So, it’s the time to bid adieu to our past and usher in the New Year in style. Tellychakkar.com caught up with few Bengali actors of Television to know about their New Year plans, resolutions and more. Read on.

Mafin Chakraborty: I have no plans as such. I will be busy rehearsing dance with my students. However, I plan to go for a makeover. I am thinking to have a new hairstyle which will give me a new look. Professionally, I was not satisfied last year, but I want to compensate it this year.

Sheikh Rezwan Rabbani: I will celebrate New Year with my friends and family. My New Year resolution is to make myself better in those genres where I think I need to.

Debottam Majumder: Party with friends, long drive and lunch in a restaurant. We are planning a rooftop party at a friend’s place. And my New Year resolution is to not allow my tummy to grow....although I am a foodie.

Sairity Banerjee: I plan to party with my friends, family and have lots of fun and create memories. I do not have any resolution per se for 2016; all I want is to work harder and earn respect and name.

Diya Mukherjee: I am planning for a night out (house party) with my co-actor friends. And my resolution for 2016 is to do a lot of work. I have to concentrate on my acting and focus on career properly.

Uday Pratap Singh: It has been quite a hectic month for me so I'll just chill at my home with my dad, as being at home feels like party to me these days. 2015 has been good for me as Tumi Ele Tai went on air and I hope they increase my pay in 2016 (laughs). I am also looking forward to CCL this year, hope to contribute for Bengal Tigers in a great way..

Saugata Bandyopadhyay: I usually have a blast during this time but now that I have caught cold, so will go a bit slow. I am planning for a house party with my close buddies. This was my last 31st night as a bachelor. I am getting married to the love of my life, Nayana Palit, in 2016. This year I will transform from a bachelor to a married man. In this year, my aim would be to find a new way and lease of life. I want to work hard and be a better human being.

Sweta Bhattacharya: I have not planned anything yet. Perhaps, I will spend some time with my family. I am so packed with my shooting schedule that I seldom get a chance to spend time with my family. I want to start the New Year along with my parents. I wish the new beginning brings us fortunes...it erases out all that is bad and gives me newer opportunities and better life. I want to do good work and also hope that I get to work with Snehashisda in his production house (Blues Production).
