Big B Birthday Special: TV celebs share their favourite AB film

TV celebs share their favourite AB film
It’s the 72nd birthday of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. The man has been entertaining us for years now with his brilliant performances in some iconic movies. TV and film actors alike treat Amitabh as a mentor and idol and the humble man on his part just smiles at all the compliments. Tellychakkar.com as a tribute to the Shahenshah on his birthday got TV celebs to share their favourite Big B film. Gaurav Chopraa: Deewar- I think it single handedly created the angry young man, anti hero, anti system persona that even 40 years later is the very mould that is used in fictional work on TV and films. Even though the film is inspired by Ganga Jamuna, it is a classic watch for how that cinema became iconic. Adaa Khan: I actually love all his amazingly awesome performances in all his movies. But Zanjeer is a favourite for sure. I love the way he played the angry young man in the film. Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly the legend of Hindi cinema. Vikas Manaktala: When it comes to Mr Living Legend, there can’t be just one film. I am a happy fan of his and the ones that I aspire to act if given a chance are Don and Agneepath. Sadly both the films already have a remake (smiles). also films like Paa, Deewar and Shaarabi are also close to me. His films bring a lot of joy to me and I wish him a healthy and fulfilling life ahead. Ragini Khanna: Cheeni Kam, Paa and Chupke Chupke are my favourites. I love the grace in the emotional graph he makes for each of his characters. His personality is charismatic and one cannot be left without being in awe of him. I remember when I was in KBC I was so awestruck seeing him that I couldn’t speak for an hour. Anuj Sachdeva: Although I enjoy all his movies, Baghban is a favourite. I love his character. He gives a warm feel as a father in that film. And rarely do we get to see him with Hema Malini, so it was an added advantage. The song Tu Yahan Main Waha is also a special one where his voice touches one’s heart deeply. Sana Amin Sheikh: Amitabh Bachchan is the epitome of the film industry. I admire his hard work and punctuality. His modesty and he being so prompt at replying to people and even his fans on social networking sites is such a heart touching act. My favourite films are Shakti and Sholay. Gautam Rode: Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly a great actor and most of his films are worth multiple watch. I like quite a lot of his movies, but my all time favourite Amitabh Bachchan films are Shakti and Chupke Chupke. I think his performance was brilliant in both the films. Wish him a great birthday! Akhlaque Khan: It’s actually difficult to name one but Deewar is definitely one of my favourites. The attitude, the character, the knotted shirt, Billa no 786 and the dialogues, they are all enough to keep one mesmerized. I actually can rattle off all the dialogues of the film at one go.
