With the Sessions Court passing a strict verdict against Salman Khan, many of hisfans are definitely sad. Even the superstar broke down after hearing the verdict. The Bhaijaan of Bollywood may be known as the bad boy, but we all are aware about his noble works.
We got into touch with few ex-contestants from Bigg Boss, who have known Salman Khan closely during their time in the house. Take a look at what they have to say about Salman Khan's jail term.
Kushal Tandon:
I am very sad today. Though he did a mistake, he is a man who has done so many noble things at the same time. I only wish that his family finds strength during this time and hope that he makes bail soon.
Imam A Siddique:
I am deeply hurt by the news. The only thing that I will say now is that my prayers are with him and his family.
Urvashi Dholakia:
I would like justice to prevail, but I believe that a single case can never set an example. So, if he has been jailed then every single case should be taken into account and no one should be spared.
Sidharth Bhardwaj:
I am really shocked today. No one is above the law, but it should be kept in mind that he has a heart of gold. Punishment cannot change whatever has happened, so we should concentrate more on the compensation.
Rajev Paul:
I am against drunk driving, but having said that, I would like to add that the Government should take the responsibility of such situations. Roads are not the place to sleep, accidents can happen anytime by anyone. So, people should be careful about it.
Sushant Divgikar:
The best part about Salman is that he wanted the Judiciary to treat him as a common man and not as a special person and that shows how humble the person is. But I think that the authorities should always consider one's track before giving any verdict. My deepest sympathies are with the victim’s family and all I can do is request for minimal punishment for him.
Sayantani Ghosh:
I personally feel very sad after knowing about it. We all make mistake and now he is a changed human being and he has done so many good things after that.
Pratyusha Banerjee:
I feel horrible, he is a gem of a person. So many years have passed since the incident and punishing him is really heart-wrenching.
Upen Patel:
All my love and prayers are with @BeingSalmanKhan and his family!!
