“The future depends on what we do in the present” – Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi encompassed a lot of unconventional beliefs in a world where there was violence. He inspired the world with his faith in truth and justice for all mankind. Gandhiji was a great soul who loved even those who fought against his ideals to bring about peace with non-violence.
Today, we recall all those beliefs and teachings and talk to celebs about which Gandhian philosophy do they follow in their life.
Shaheer Sheikh:
I totally believe in non-violence, so that is one belief of Gandhiji which I apply in life.
Divyanka Tripathi:
I believe in non-violence and also the phrase, Bura Mat Suno Bura Mat Dekho Bura Mat Kaho. I feel if there is no negativity around one, the person can be more satisfied and happy.
Srishty Rode:
I think Gandhiji’s principle of see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil is something I follow truly.
Manish Wadhwa:
Though I have portrayed many negative characters on-screen, as an individual I firmly stand against non-violence and believe in right to freedom.
Ravi Dubey:
I am an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi. At a time where everyone was resorting to violence, he stood by his belief that an eye for an eye would make the whole world blind. I truly believe in his conviction and belief system that freedom could be achieved through a peaceful medium too.
Karan Goddwani:
We all know his philosophies and I am sure majority of us even credit Mahatma Gandhi for what he has done for our nation. However, there are some facts which have been forgotten and I think people should read more about him and our history. I personally am not an ardent follower of Gandhi.
