Like Father-Like Son

Like Father-Like Son
Fathers are examples of being accountable, and have equal credentials in playing the role of a parent. For a child there is nothing like walking in the shoes of a father and following his footsteps. In turn a father also expects his son to be as good as he was at a point in time. If you have ever tried imitating your dad in terms of his walking or talking style, you may know what we are talking about. This is the day dedicated to all fathers!! Yes, on the occasion of Father’s Day, we at Tellychakkar.com got in touch with a few television celebrities who shared their personal thoughts with regards to the bond they share with their loving fathers. Take a look! To begin with, we have Jay Soni who shares, “We have very few qualities in common; I and my dad are completely different personalities. My mum keeps saying that we eat a lot and after having our lunch we fall asleep very soon. It may sound very funny, but it's true.” Well, Nakuul Mehta seems to look up to this father with great pride and gratification. "My father is a retired Indian armed forces officer and he is somebody who symbolizes discipline, punctuality, integrity, sincerity and conscientiousness for me. It's pretty amazing to see how without trying hard, I've naturally taken after him and these are the qualities I swear by in my personal and professional sphere. It's something I try my best to live by." The very hard working Ashish Mehrotra misses his dad very much. “We both are very giving and therefore our first priority will always be others, since we are not selfish. I must say I am too much like him. I am patient, hardworking and at the same time we think a lot. I love him very much and I also miss him a lot.” Mohammad Nazim sounded very soulful as he conveys a sweet message to his father whom he looks up to with respect and admiration. "My father is a very friendly man and we both are alike. I am not a typical Ahem Modi in real life; I am a jovial person. My dad loves smiling faces and so do I. My dad was also a wrestler and even I got into wrestling because of him as he was my inspiration. I and my dad could be referred to as angry young men because we keep losing our temper very often. Finally I would want to let him know that if there is anything he needs I will always be there to support him." Mohit Malik has a completely different reason to thank his father for. "I work very hard to acquire what I need in order to be successful in life; similarly my dad has done the same to come up in life by tackling all the problems that he has faced. Talking about similarities, both of us are very emotional and we can't hide our emotions from getting expressed. I would want to thank him for always being there and most importantly for giving me good looks (laughs)." Finally, let’s see what Bharat Chawda has to say, “I and my dad don’t have many qualities in common, but what we have in common is very interesting. We like experimenting with food, we eat a lot and if we need something we just go for it without thinking much. We do not exhibit our anger, but when he gets angry he can't control himself. We don't meet each other very often, so I just want to tell him that I miss him very much." Three cheers to all the ‘father’s’ boys’ out here!!
