On the merriest occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, lavish decorations are being put up, Ganpati idols have been booked, and our telly actors are gearing up for modaks, get-togethers and special themes.
Tellychakkar.com gets talking to television celebs about their special preparation for Lord Ganesha. Take a look…
Aneri Vajani
This time the mandap of Ganesha will be like a covered mountain. I am going to prepare modak and many other sweets.
Ashita Dhawan
This year is very special as Bappa will be coming to our new house. So for us the theme is newness. The colours will be blue and pink.
Monica Khanna
There is no special theme as such, but I have used bangles, bells and mouli to for a mandir vibe.
Meghna Naidu
2015 is the 25th year of bringing Lord Ganesha to our place so the decoration will be very special. It will be made with lights and flowers. We are also making special modak for Ganpatiji.
Vikas Manaktala
I am opting for vibrant neon colours. The idol will be a combination of blue and pink.
Ragini Khanna
This year we are completing 19 years, so it will be all green. We don’t call any decorators as we do it ourselves with all our love. Every sweet will be prepared at our home.
Pragati Mehra
There is no theme this year. I am getting lord Ganesha in a very simple way. I am also getting special modaks.
Ankit Bathla
My theme is flowers. I think flowers bring a smile to everyone’s face. We have made all the cut outs ourselves. And the cherry on the cake is that my buaji is coming to Mumbai this year for Ganpati.
Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, readers!
