The festival of Holi begins with the lighting of a bonfire on the eve of the colourful festival. On the day of the celebration, we apply colours on each other and play with water, making it a fun-filled and energetic festival. But what makes this festival a riotous one is the consumption of a chilled drink called 'bhang'.
In fact, Holi and bhang are synonymous. If you don't drink bhang, you haven't enjoyed the spirit of the festival. In conversation with Tellychakkar.com ,TV stars share their bhang experiences. Take a look…

I tasted bhang at a friend’s place for the first time. Her parents’ gave me ‘shagun ka bhang’, but after consuming it I was not able to sleep. I also remember a hilarious incident, which happened a year or two back. After having bhang, I was so hungry that I almost ate 18 to 20 chapatis. While I was busy feeding myself, my mom was busy crying with panic (laughs).

I have never tasted bhang, but if I have it this time, I would only dance and eat. As I have heard that people tend to eat a lot post their bhang sessions. Hoping to have a great Holi this time.

I was too young when by mistake I had a bhang barfi. After having that I just slept for hours. Wishing all of you a Happy Holi.

I have never had bhang but I think I would only dance and go completely berserk after having it for sure. That’s the feedback I have received from people who’ve had bhang.
Nikita Sharma
I haven't had bhang yet, but I would love to have it and do crazy stuff post that. Holi is all about fun and I think one should enjoy every bit of it.
Taher Mithaiwala
I have a phobia of Holi so I don’t play. As for bhang is concerned I am already a fun and cool guy so I would not need bhang to add spice in my life.
Bhang or no bhang, do have a lot of masti!! Happy Holi!!
