We all love shaking our legs to foot tapping beats and our TV celebs are no exception. Whether trained or not, they all love to perform. And similar to us, they also have special memories attached to their first stage performance.
On International Dance Day, our lovely television celebs share about that experience. Have a look…
Shraddha Arya
I remember my first big performance on stage was on India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj in front of a huge audience. Being an untrained dancer and actor I was really scared and was having goose bumps, but once I was on the stage, I simply went with the flow and it turned out well for me.
Ssharad Malhotra
My first stage performance was amazing. I remember I was supposed to perform the opening dance number for the annual day ceremony of my dance academy and I was so nervous that I forgot my first step. But, being a dancer, I went with the flow and my performance was appreciated by all. And after that day, my stage fear disappeared and I started enjoying on stage!
Rubina Dilaik
Firstly, I would like to say that I love dancing and my first dance performance was when I was in the second standard. Though the memory has faded away, I still remember being dressed in a polka dotted skirt, and fighting with my pony tail before the performance!
Ashish Sharma
My first stage performance was when I was in the ninth standard. I essayed the role of Lord Krishna in the act and performed a semi-classical number during Teacher’s Day. Unfortunately, I don’t get much time to practice dance due to my tight schedule.
Neha Marda
Dancing has always been my first love and till date it is continuing to be so. My first stage performance was on Boogie Woogie and I was absolutely clueless as I did not know how to dance. But the experience was an amazing one!
Manish Raisinghan
I remember I was literally shivering during my first performance. But I remember Geeta Kapoor supporting me throughout the act. And because of her I was able to enjoy that day.
Srishty Rode
My first performance was hilarious. It was my sister’s act and I was really amazed by the concept of dancing and just walked onto the stage to perform. Though I messed it up, I fell in love with the art.
Shivin Narang
My first on stage performance was two or three years back and being a non-dancer I was really scared. But that day while dancing I learned one thing that it is all about enjoying the art.
