SAB TV's upcoming romantic series Khatmal-e-Ishque is already creating a lot of excitement among the audience, thanks to its unique proposition – Love story of a dancing traffic cop. The upcoming finite series in its opening story will entertain audiences via the love story of Kapil Dev and Lovina (Umang Jain). Kapil, a dancing traffic cop, having a unique way of controlling the traffic, is played by actor Vishal Malhotra.

Vishal has lived the life of a traffic cop in real and realized how difficult their job is!!! In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Vishal shares 5 things he has learnt from enacting the role of a dancing traffic cop. Read on to know what he has shared with us -

Firstly, I would like to dedicate my role to all the traffic cops in India. I have gained a lot of respect in my heart after playing this role. They stand under the sun and control traffic amidst the crowd and pollution. They are always in stress and it’s the most thankless job ever. So, after living the life of a traffic inspector for my role, in real life, I always call a traffic police to thank them. There is one lady traffic cop at a junction in Bandra. I thanked her one day and showed her the promo of my show. She forwarded the promo to all her friends who are into the same profession. All of them are excited and have promised to watch the show because it’s unique and first such attempt.

The way a traffic police co-ordinates, is excellent.

A lot of presence of mind is needed for controlling the traffic because one wrong decision can lead to a traffic jam or even an accident.

A traffic cop needs to handle everything with lots of patience.

A traffic cop needs to have a lot of stamina to stand throughout the day and handle everything under so much stress.

Indeed, nice learnings!!!

Khatmal-e-Ishque to air from 13 December onwards at 10pm on SAB TV.
