#MissingChildhoodSnacks: TV celebs go down memory lane

MissingChildhoodSnacks
What’s childhood without yummy snacks and carefree attitude, eh? Remember the waft of your favorite childhood food? The tingly feeling of actually eating it and then patiently waiting for mommy to make it again? Well, our TV celebs have gone through the same too. They reminisce about their childhood food indulgence. Take a look: Roopal Tyagi In my school canteen, we used to get a snack named ‘Yummies’. Basically it was a ring-shaped snack, which I used put on all my fingers and then eat them one by one! Mudit Nayar Mine is samosa, which continues to be my all-time favorite! Giaa Manek It was jam and roti and “Peppy” chips were my favourite snacks. Aakanksha Singh The one and only Kismi bar chocolate! I also used to like buddhi ke baal (candy floss). I still remember that uncle who used to come with the floss on a bicycle. Chandni Bhagwanani I miss the green colour carton Frooty (Mango drink). It used to taste very different from the version we get now. Also, I remember I used to have stocks of Kismi and Hajmola. Ripudaman Handa Soya balls aka the cheese balls of today. I used to eat them daily when I was young. I used to also have ‘Chuski’ (Gola) after returning home from school! Sonam Lamba ‘Khatti meethi Imli’ (tamarind), which we used to get near our school gate. I think nothing can beat that. Toffies, candies are available even today, but eating those tamarind was pure bliss. Which snack are you missing from your childhood? Comment and share with us.
