My father - My Saviour

My father - My Saviour
What a sigh of relief it is when someone watches your back when you are in a disorganized situation. Well, here are a few television celebrities whose fathers hailed to be their saviors in times of need and have helped them to nurture and grow as children who now comprise an affluent future. On this Father’s Day, most of the celebs admitted that their fathers have been a pillar of support to them in spite of their uncertain choice of career in the field of acting. The very popular Kavita Kaushik who is known to be very intrepid for playing the role of inspector Chandramukhi Chautala in FIR asserted that her dad was a feared cop and has admitted it to be the only reason for her being single till date. "My dad has beaten up guys who have troubled me and therefore he is my only savior. He was a cop and he has killed a terrorist with his bare hands. My dad is an audacious person and that's the reason I guess I am still single. No one can replicate him, not even a hero in a movie can do the same. I just want to salute him." The very sweet and fun filled actress Kanchi Kaul credits her dad for her successful career. “My dad has always been my saviour; he has saved me from many incidents and that has delighted me as a pampered daughter. When I was quite young, he caught my little finger and made me walk steadily on my feet. This father's day I would want to convey a message to him by saying that I love him very much and he has been the best father in the world." How does it feel to be the ‘not so bright kid’ of the family? If you don’t, Ishita Dutta surely does know how it feels. "When I was small I was not a bright child and everyone was tensed, however my dad had faith in me. I then scored 92% in my HSC and everyone was surprised. He has always told me to do everything by heart and not just for the sake of doing things. I just want to tell him that I love him very much and I'd want to thank him for the support that he has given me.” Ever heard of the phrase ‘Daddy’s little angel’, imagine being treated like one. The gorgeous model turned television actress Vrinda Dawda has been a little angel to her father. “Dad has never been in my family scenario. He has saved me whenever I was in trouble. He gets mad at me and at the same time sorts things out which has been an advantage for me. I really love him a lot and he has been the best father. We are very similar; I and mum look alike but I have ingrained all the qualities from my dad. I know he loves me very much but he just can't express it. He is also very emotional when it comes to me." The very hot and stunning Mohit Sehgal has this to say when we asked him to share with us his bond with his father. "I think all fathers are saviors to their children. When I first came to Mumbai he gave me six months to set up my career as an actor. And thus he supported me in every decision I took. I want to tell him that I miss him a lot and also a very big thank you." Vibhav Roy thanks his father for guiding him in the right direction. "As an actor it is difficult to live up to your family's expectations of making it big in the acting space. But my dad had faith in me and trusted me as well as supported me throughout my journey. He has helped me a lot and so I'd want to thank him for being there and guiding me in the right path."
