Diwali, the festival of lights is marked with lot of fun and fireworks!! And the celebration only gets better when the entire family gathers to welcome guests and extended family, and enjoy the sparkling fireworks and noisy crackers. One cannot miss a smile on their faces while lighting the twinkling diyas, or while preparing mouth-watering sweets and savouries.
What is it that will make this Diwali of yours special? We get to ask our favourite telly stars…
Shritama Mukherjee – I am going to my hometown Kota (Rajasthan) and will be celebrating Diwali with my family. Last year I celebrated my birthday and Diwali on the same day. I am very excited to celebrate Diwali with my family.
Adaa Khan – I will be shooting because I have not taken any leave but I will try to attend few card parties and Diwali parties with my friends.
Karan Goddwani – This Diwali I will celebrate with my family and friends. As of now I am not attending any party but if I would want to, it would be an impromptu plan.
Angad Hasija - I am not celebrating Diwali because I am busy shooting. I am out of town and I am going to miss all the preparations and celebrations with my family.
Kanwar Dhillon – I basically don’t celebrate Diwali because of the pollution caused by crackers. There will be a family gathering and even I am busy shooting.
Giaa Maanek – I am lucky that I will be celebrating Diwali in my new house. This is my 1st Diwali in my new house; so it is very special for me. Earlier I used to celebrate Diwali on my set and do rangoli on set. But this Diwali I will draw rangoli in my house and will prepare sweets with my mother.
Arshima Thapar - There will be a small get-together and my parents will do puja. My brother is flying down from Delhi for this Diwali, so I am going to celebrate the festival with my family and friends.
Shakti Arora – I will celebrate Diwali by performing traditional rituals and will be doing puja. I will buy gold this Diwali and gifts for my family because they always complain that I don’t have time for them. I will not burst crackers because I am strictly against it.
Tellychakkar.com wishes all a very Happy Diwali.
