TV actors and their favourite on-screen jodis of 2013
All you lovers of TV shows, we have already spoken to your favourite small screen celebs and they selected their favourite TV actors and actresses of 2013. And now we are sure that our viewers and fans would want to know who according to our TV celebs are the favourite on-screen jodis on the small screen of this year. To know their take on the same, we approached a few television artistes. And here is what they said: Ragini Khanna: Fist of alI, I simply love Kapil Sharma and his team for such a brilliant show (Comedy Night With Kapil). Talking about TV couples then it has to be Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) and Ram (Ram Kapoor) from Bade Acche Lagte Hain. I also like on-screen and off-screen couple Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi (Nach Baliye and Pavitra Rishta). They are a very cute and lovable couple. Gautam Rode: Well, it should be the jodi of me and Jennifer (Winget); people like our chemistry in Saraswatichandra. Otherwise I like Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani of Taarak Mehta…as they, unlike other couples, are very amusing. Sonarika Bhadoria: I think it will be the jodi of me and Mohit Raina. We both have worked really hard to portray Parvati and Mahadev respectively, in Mahadev. Kunwar Amar: It should be that of mine and Shakti (Mohan) in our show D3. The number one show on Channel V has been appreciated by the masses more for our chemistry. Before entering television, Jennifer Winget was my favourite actress and my dream girl and with Gautam (Rode) they both look wonderful together in Saraswatichandra. Soumya Seth: I love watching Taarak Mehta… and find Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani to be the best on-screen couple as they are very natural, funny and stage friendly. I also adore Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor (Bade Acche); they are a very mature and talented couple. Avinash Sachdev: Since I hardly watch television, it would be difficult for me to answer this question. But I have watched some episodes of Bade Achhe… and found out that the show has a very different story. Ram and Sakshi fit into their respective roles very well. Even Gautam and Jennifer are doing a good job in Saraswatichandra and it is fun to watch their nok-jhok in the soap. Vahbbiz Dorabjee: To be frank, I simply love the chemistry of Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in Qubool Hai; their paring is very fresh and rare. They are not like other couples and Surbhi’s character is very bubbly. Gunjan Utreja: I hardly watch television and I have no idea about new couples. So I would go with Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. I feel they are Shah Rukh and Kajol of the small screen. Whether it is an emotional scene or a romantic one, they look very genuine. In fact, at times you forget that they are really acting. Kishwer Merchantt: I am very fond of the chemistry between Jennifer Winget and Gautam Rode; they complement each other very well. And then it has to be my good friend Vivian D’sena and Drashti Dhami in Madhubala. Kanica Maheshwari: According to me it has to be Sooraj and Sandhya from my show Diya Aur Baati Hum. People love to see them together as a couple and I think that is the reason why it is the number one show.
