Yaar, aaj friendship day hai…isi bahane aaj to at least usse baat karna start kar!!!
Readers, remember this common dialogue?
On friendship day, the love gurus give gyaan to their friends to finally utter the courage to mouth Mujhse Dosti Karoge?’ to their crushes.
But what our Bong TV actors think about this? Do, they have the same opinion? Do they too feel it is the perfect day to make the first move?
Tellychakkar.com caught up with a few actors to know their opinion on the ‘friendship and love matter’.
Over to them-
Rehaan Roy
Well, I feel this can certainly be a perfect day to take the first move as Rahul said in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: ‘Pyaar dosti hai’ (wink). Jokes apart, the best love stories start from friendship. I still remember my school days when we used to wait for this day and a friendship card or a friendship band used to help a lot with a messenger. And that messenger mostly used to be a common friend.
Mishmi Das
Umm well…as kids, friendship day meant exchanging friendship bands and cards but as we grew up the meaning changed. I remember I was in love with my best friend but couldn’t confess and yeah, isidin ke bahane I tried confessing but it turned out to be a disaster. I feel even though love and friendship are related, we should keep it separate. We shouldn’t mix the both. So, when it comes to making the first move…well, it’s no no for me (wink).
Somraj Maity
It is the perfect day because friendship is the first step. You never know things may work out through that.
Prapti Chatterjee
It is a very appropriate day. The day is often used to show someone if you really like him/her.
Nabanita Das
There shouldn’t be any specific day called friendship day. If you stretch your hand towards someone with love, care, honesty and faithfulness, you can turn each and everyday into friendship day. So, don’t wait for the friendship day to make the first move…do it now.
Rajdeep Gupta
Well recalling old days, I must say that as a teenager it was kind of excitement. Those friendship bands…Yeah, it was easier to make the first move with the band actually. But truly speaking, I was too shy as a kid. I never had the courage to walk up to a girl and approach. Then God knows how the enlightenment happened and the rest is history. I am not shy anymore. Well, not that I have become some Casanova or play boy. I am still the sober poor chap but just that I have become too talkative and upfront. So, yes, as a teenager I used to feel it to be the perfect day.
