Saturday is Karva Chauth and many women across the globe will wake up before sunrise and begin to fast. They will not eat and drink anything till they see the moon in the night. They do it in the hope of a happy and safe life for their husbands. The festival of Karva Chauth is an age-old Hindu tradition practiced fervently in North Indian and all across the world wherein women dress up and keep a fast for the well-being, success and good health of their spouses. All said and done, it’s not unusual for things to change with passing time. Earlier, during the festival, women applied henna on their hands, bought clothes and exchanged gifts with their loved ones. Now the paradigm has shifted a bit. In the jet age, the fairer sex has rather extravagant preparations like diamond facial, body spa treatment, chemical peel treatments et al. The dynamics might have changed but the emotion is still intact. The festival is still driven by the most wonderful feeling in the world i.e. love. Glamorous television stars are no different than millions of others across the country when it comes to celebrating Karva Chauth. Beautiful and gorgeous female actors also fast for the well-being and prosperity of their husbands. Tellychakkar caught up with some TV stars and asked them about their plans on Karva Chauth this year.
