#WorldEnvironmentDay: TV celebs pledge to the save the world

Save our world, TV celebs pledge on #WorldEnvironmentDay

As the entire world is celebrating World Environment Day today (5 June), our lovely television celebs has also decided to voice for the cause. Like responsible countrymen they are share they thoughts on how to maintain the environmental balance and to keep it healthy and clean.

Have a look what they have to say about it.

Ssharad Malhotraa-
A big No to plastic bags as it poses a big threat to the environment around. I don't use plastic bags at all. I carry my own bag for shopping.

Asmita Sood-
I ensure that water used for cleaning vegetable is recycled and used in potted plants. I plant saplings every month. I plant more in rainy season.

Mrunal Jain-
I don’t waste water at all. At home we always use water to clean vegetables into potted plants. I don’t smoke and don’t allow anyone to smoke in my home. I use less water for bathing. I often dry clean myself rather than taking bath twice.

Aishwarya Sakhuja-
I'll ensure that all the garbage wet and dry is separated before throwing. Clean air and clean water is the necessity everywhere. Environmental consciousness should be the way of life. I am very particular about hygiene in my home. No one should throw garbage on road. I object if I notice someone throwing it.

Mohmmad Nazim-
I will make sure to be a part of this day. I have planted few plants in my balcony in my home in India and also plant a few outside my home, so that they grow into big trees. Here in Australia I am travelling in a bicycle to go around and I love it.

Vahbbiz Dorabajee-
I don’t throw any garbage on the road and I get offended if anyone does it. I am very particular about not using plastic any form since three years. Change has to begin from us. We have to take initiative and increase awareness.

Wow, such great tips..!!!
