MUMBAI: Neil gently questions young Sai for walking alone at night, warning her about the dangers. Sai explains she was trying to meet her father, who is now a star, and shares how much she misses him. Neil relates, revealing that his wife too has become a star, and he misses her deeply. He tells Sai that once someone becomes a star, they can’t return—and that leaving would hurt those who still love them. Sai agrees but admits she still misses her dad. The two share an emotional hug, and Sai wipes Neil’s tears.

Neil asks Sai to promise she won’t go out alone again until she’s grown up. She agrees, and he encourages her to smile at the stars whenever she misses her father. They share biscuits together.
Meanwhile, Savi arrives at the hospital. Dr. Surva joins Neil and asks if he found any leads. Neil entrusts Sai to a nurse and leaves with Dr. Surva. Savi and Sai reunite; Sai apologizes and promises never to go out alone again, as she has assured “Pookie Uncle”—Neil.
Dr. Surva treats Neil’s wounds and warns him against taking such risks. Jeetu confronts Neil for endangering himself, insisting the police should handle the case. Neil, however, is convinced that Teju’s body was planted to mislead the investigation and vows to prove her innocence, despite the danger. Jeetu urges caution, but Neil remains determined.
At the hospital, Savi calls Ridhi to let her know Sai is safe. Before leaving, she writes a heartfelt thank-you note for Neil, signed as Sai’s mother.
Neil later finds the note in his cabin and smiles. At home, Sai is welcomed with prasad. Srichand rushes in, saying he had alerted his entire team when he heard she was missing. Savi thanks him. Srichand expresses gratitude for Rajat’s role in helping him find a family, though he mourns Rajat’s loss and vows to protect the family in his absence.
Sai wishes Savi a happy Mother’s Day and gifts her a handmade card with her phone number, touching Savi deeply. Bhagyashree mocks Savi, while Srichand gives her a tracking device for Sai’s safety. Sai declares she has learned her lesson from Neil and will never leave her family again. Even Bhagyashree agrees Neil did the right thing.
Neil stores Sai’s thank-you note in his cupboard and speaks to a photo of Teju, telling her how Sai understood his love without needing words.
That night, Savi dreams of Rajat leaving her and the children. She wakes up in distress, gazing at a photo of happier times. A knock at the door reveals Ridhi, who informs her that the U.S. college fee hasn’t been paid and the deadline is tomorrow. Tara enters and asserts that all financial matters should be handled by her, not Savi. She contacts Bhaskar, the company’s manager, who vaguely promises a report due to “funding issues.” Savi becomes suspicious.
Later, Savi drops Sai off at school, where Neil also arrives and speaks to a teacher about Vidhaan. When Savi tells Sai she’ll change her bandage, Sai says, “Pookie Uncle will do it. He’s really sweet.” Savi, surprised, asks who this mystery man is.
Vidhaan happily greets Neil at school, and Sai also lights up on seeing him. Savi meets Bhaskar to confront him about his suspicious message. He finally reveals that the company is in financial ruin—Rajat had gone bankrupt, and there are no remaining funds. Stunned, Savi wonders how Rajat could have kept such a massive secret from her.
