MUMBAI:Teju questions Mukta about how she plans to become the number one singer by only performing classical music. Mukta, in turn, expresses her discomfort with Rituraj’s influence over Teju before walking away. Meanwhile, Rituraj urges Neel to focus on driving and playfully teases him about which girl he is dreaming of. Neel dismisses the idea, insisting he isn’t thinking about anyone. Rituraj encourages Neel to fall in love, but Neel admits he lacks confidence when speaking to girls and believes he will love the person he eventually marries. Rituraj comments on this and invites Neel to accompany him to Nashik for a performance, but Neel declines. Rituraj then asks if Neel has ever been mesmerized by a girl, causing Neel to think of Teju.
Teju, lost in thoughts of Rituraj, is startled when Vedant questions her for ignoring her phone, which has been buzzing with messages. She checks her phone and realizes her friends are excited about her duet with Rituraj. Overjoyed, she decides to call Mohit to share the news. Vedant reminds her that Mohit never allows them to contact him while he is in Nagpur. Teju explains that Mohit’s parents have never accepted Mukta and are upset with him.
Determined to reach out, she decides to call the landline, believing that if she introduces herself as their granddaughter, their anger might subside. Vedant warns her about the consequences, but she proceeds anyway. Aditi answers the call, but before Teju can speak, Mukta intervenes and disconnects the call. Mukta confronts Teju, reminding her of Mohit’s strict instructions not to contact him in Nagpur. Teju questions how long this situation will continue, expressing her desire to see and talk to her grandparents. Vedant also voices his frustration.
Mukta explains that Mohit’s parents are upset because he married her against their wishes. Teju tries to convince Mukta to allow them to call, but Mukta firmly insists they wait until Mohit permits it. Mukta explains that Mohit is protecting them from unnecessary pain and urges Teju and Vedant to respect their father’s wishes, given all he does for them. They reluctantly agree. Mukta then tells Teju that if she truly wants to make her father proud, she must become the world’s best singer. Teju agrees, and Mukta instructs them to get ready for their trip to Nashik.
Meanwhile, Mohit prepares to leave for Nashik and informs his family that he will be away for two weeks on a work trip. His parents suggest he transfer to their city so they can all live together, but Lakshmi bitterly remarks that he won’t do so because he doesn’t want to stay with her. Mohit responds with a comment, subtly agreeing. Aditi hands him medication for his blood pressure and reminds him to take it daily, to which Mohit agrees. As he gets into an auto, Mohit glances at Aditi, thinking to himself that he wishes he could provide her with a normal family. However, he knows he cannot reveal to Mukta that he had another marriage and a child.
