MUMBAI:Teju calls Rituraj, but Neil answers. Introducing himself as Rituraj’s brother, he asks if the matter is urgent. Before Teju can respond, Rituraj takes the phone from Neil and speaks with her. Teju informs him of his father’s passing. Shocked, Rituraj inquires about the details, but Teju responds cryptically, saying the person who was meant to leave has already gone, and knowing more won’t change anything. She apologizes for disturbing him and ends the call.

Frustrated, Rituraj throws his phone aside. Neil, concerned, asks what happened. Rituraj explains that his close friend’s father has passed away and she wants him to be there, but he refuses, insisting that his professional commitments take precedence over personal matters.
Meanwhile, Aditi is inconsolable over her father’s death. Lakshmi’s neighbors console her while expressing their shock at Mohit’s actions. Lakshmi admits that she always knew Mohit resented her, but now she finally understands why. Overcome with grief, Mohit’s mother lashes out at Lakshmi for focusing on his betrayal instead of mourning his death. Lakshmi, unfazed, responds that she wouldn’t understand. She warns Mohit’s mother that if his second family moves into the house, she will leave. Coldly, Mohit’s mother tells her no one is stopping her. Lakshmi replies that she would have left already if not for her responsibilities toward Aditi. Upset, Aditi urges Lakshmi to go.
Elsewhere, Mohit’s father arrives at Mukta’s house with Deepali and Santosh, devastated by his son’s death. Mukta greets him with respect, touching his feet. Confused, he asks who she is. Teju introduces Mukta as her mother and explains that they were the ones who called. Enraged, Mohit’s father blames Mukta for his son’s death. Teju, standing up for her mother, acknowledges their grief but insists it’s unfair to hold Mukta responsible, as they, too, are mourning Mohit’s loss. As emotions run high, Mohit’s father shifts his attention to Vedant.
