MUMBAI: Teju questions Satish about why she is speaking up now when she remained silent in front of Neil. Satish reminds her that Neil is about to become his son-in-law, which is why he didn’t say anything at the time. Meanwhile, Leena calls Chavan Niwas, and Sonali answers. Leena requests Juhi to visit their home the next day, mentioning that Yash and Rituraj will pick her up. Sonali agrees. Later, Juhi speaks with Leena over the phone, and when Leena spots Neil, she asks him to talk to Juhi.
Neil asks Juhi if she will visit, and she confirms. He responds positively, saying he has something important to discuss with her. Juhi agrees and ends the call. Juhi shares Neil’s words with her family. Lakshmi comments that Neil knows the true value of a diamond, implying Juhi is more valuable than Teju. Frustrated, Satish declares that as long as Teju stays in the house, problems will persist. Determined to get rid of her, he decides to arrange her marriage.
Meanwhile, Rituraj’s manager congratulates him on his successful U.S. tour. Teju calls Rituraj, and he is surprised to hear from her. He expresses how much he missed her and explains that he had tried to contact her after his return, but she never answered. Teju reveals that she had changed her number, which is why she missed his calls. Rituraj expresses his eagerness to meet, but Teju explains that she isn’t allowed to leave her house. He encourages her to stand up for herself.
Teju then directly asks if he will marry her, given her situation. However, Rituraj advises her to focus on her M.A. exams instead of thinking about marriage. Teju worries that her family won’t let her make her own decisions. Rituraj suggests informing the police to intervene, but Teju refuses, stating she would never turn against the people who sheltered her. She insists on handling her own problems and apologizes for wasting his time before ending the call. Rituraj quickly asks when they will meet again, but Teju dismisses the need for it and hangs up. Reflecting on their conversation, Rituraj realizes that Teju is thinking about marriage when they barely know each other. For him, his career remains the top priority.
