Lauren squashes rumours of spat with 'good friend' Punit

Punit Pathak and Lauren Gottlieb
Lauren Gottlieb and Punit Pathak…the two renowned faces of Jhalak last season. The desi jawan and gori mem’s magic made them a sweetheart of the masses. Everyone talked about their chemistry and bonding, which led to conjectures about the duo having an affair. Punit, as per industry sources, helped Lauren acclimatize to alien Mumbai conditions and settle down in the maximum city. Thought Punit and Lauren did look like souls in love, they always maintained the usual ‘just friends’ status. Friends…we say…they were super tight friends!!! But with time, things between the two seemed to have taken a nasty turn. Shockingly, as per sources, the two have hit a rough patch in their relationship and doesn’t see eye to eye anymore. “They first met while filming the movie ABCD, then worked gleefully through Jhalak and now will work again in the sequel to ABCD. They both are yet again a part of Jhalak this season on Colors, but in different capacities. Something is wrong between the them and the warmth in their relationship has vanished. It seems Lauren has made new friends in the city,” says a source. Ahh…sad very day!!! Armed with this bit of info we buzzed Lauren who after a patient hearing rubbished all talks as mere rumours. She added: “Everything is false. There is no animosity between me and Punit.” Next, Punit said: “There is no question of hatred or fight. We are working together in ABCD sequel and also keep meeting on the sets of Jhalak. So all cool.” Well, if all is indeed cool, then we are really happy. And so would be the jodi’s fans. We wish the two all the luck and success. Disclaimer: Any content appearing under ‘Gossip’ section is purely gossip and TellyChakkar.com does not comply with the same.
