The Himesh-Ashaji war continues

It's not that Himesh Reshammiya and Asha Bhonsle share a very goody-goody rapport. The fact that this nasal singer cum composer has already featured in the bad books of Asha tai for calling R.D Burman a nasal singer too is stale news. And by getting both these dynamic personalities together in one show (Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma 2007), the possibilities of sparks flying again was quite high.
That's what was witnessed during one of the episode of this reality show. It so happened that a Pakistani contestant Mussarat Abbas had been rendering the same kind of songs in every performance to which Ashaji objected. She asked him to sing a different genre of track so as to judge his versatality. To this mentor Himesh counter objected saying that when he knows he is good in a particular form why should he try something different? Co-judges Vishal and Shekhar also intervened in this matter. As a result a tiff broke out between them. Finally Mussharat had to render a different song which thankfully impressed everyone. And Himesh was so overwhelmed by his song that he promised to give him a break no matter his fate in the competition. As of now the matter did end on a positive note but the same can't be said about the equation between Reshammiya and Ashaji. However Zee is having the last laugh as it is only adding to its TRPs.
