MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television has always ruled the roost when it comes to shows with unique storylines. In line with the content preference of the audience, the channel is reviving the immemorial tale of Lord Krishna in its newest offering, Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala, which premiered on 13 June 2022.
The show presents viewers with a novel perspective on the life of Krishna, one where the spotlight will be put on the loving mother-son bond between Yashoda and Krishna.
In an exclusive interaction with us, Neha Sargam aka Yashomati Maiya spilled the beans on her role and more.

Since you are portraying the role of a mother, what is motherhood according to you?
Well, in personal life I am not a mother. But in the storyline, the baby is a part of the mother, so you make sure that you are always there to support him.
What kind of bond do you share with the cast and crew on the sets?
On the sets, we are very friendly; we share our joys and sorrows. We all get good vibes while working together.
What made you say yes for this role?
I haven’t done this kind of a role before, so I was excited to accept it.
What kind of difficulty did you face while shooting for the show?
To deal with climate and to know and deal with the mood of the child are the most difficult things I face as of now, but thankfully I am patient, so I learn to deal with it.
