Jaw dropping, eye achingly sexy, this chiselled masculine actor astounds with his sheer raw appeal.
We are talking about tawny-hued and seemingly vulnerable Kushal Tandon, who is every woman’s wet fantasy.
The Ek Hazaaron and Bigg Boss fame star has made his comeback on small screen with Sony Entertainment Television’s Beyhadh.
At the recently held press conference, Kushal looked handsome in a white tee and a jacket paired with blue jeans. In a candid chat, Kushal spoke about his character, show, co-stars and more.
Why did it take you so long to return to television?
Post Ek Hazaaron, I did Bigg Boss and later I participated in Fear Factor, where I suffered many injuries. Hence, I was on a sabbatical and later signed two movie projects, which did not shape up due to some issues. I have lot of aspiration as an actor. With my TV debut, I won many awards, similarly when I enter Bollywood, I should be recognised for my work. I chose Beyhadh as it’s not a usual TV show. It will change the concept of Indian television.
Has Bigg Boss helped you in your career?
I enjoyed being a part of Bigg Boss and it was a good experience. I have no regrets as it was my decision to participate. I am happy in my zone and I know where I have to reach in life. I am ambitious but not over ambitious.
Have you ever dated an obsessive lover in real life?
Thankfully, I haven’t. Even if I meet such kind of a girl, I will run miles away from her.
Your character is that of a photographer by profession; do you have such kind of liking in real life?
I am only good at clicking selfies but now I am learning photography.
Why play only stylish looking character on screen?
Kya kare woh hi offer hota hai (laughs). I was offered only erotic thrillers in movie space. People thought that my only skill is to shed clothes and enact steamy scenes. That’s when I decided to back out of such films.
How is it working with two beautiful girls, Aneri Vajani and Jennifer Winget?
We three share a great camaraderie and we are having a great time on the set.
Who according to you are the best looking actresses on Indian television?
There are very few good looking actresses on TV. However, Nia Sharma, Gauahar Khan and Jennifer Winget are really stunning.
What kind of films you wish to be a part of in the future?
A film that sends across a message to the masses, like Udta Punjab. What a fabulous movie!
