MUMBAI: The Episode starts with Rihaan arriving at Vihaan’s house with his police team. The village inspector informs Bhavesh that Rihaan received a tip-off about a criminal hiding in his home. Rihaan asks Bhavesh to gather all the family members. Hitesh denies the possibility of a criminal staying in their house, suggesting Rihaan might be mistaken. Priyanshi informs Anirudh about the police’s arrival, prompting him to head downstairs.

Ketki asserts that her family’s reputation makes it unthinkable for them to harbor a criminal. Rihaan insists his information is accurate. Ketki defends her household, stating even their servants have been with them for years. The inspector demands to see the daughters-in-law and servants. Ketki refuses to summon them without reason, emphasizing her dignity.
Jhanak panics upon seeing the police and hides, fearing imprisonment. Sejal notices Jhanak’s nervousness and speculates she might be guilty, questioning whether Vihaan knows anything about it. Prachi tries to dismiss Sejal’s accusations, but Sejal persists, suspecting Jhanak as the newest arrival. Jhanak, anxious, mentions she will meet Ahaan. Sejal advises her to face questioning in the hall, but Jhanak retreats inside.
Babuji enters and learns about the situation from Ketki. He stands up for his family. Anirudh confronts Rihaan, asking for details about the alleged crime. Rihaan reveals they suspect someone new in the house. Anirudh explains the younger son recently returned with his wife and son. Rihaan shares the names Nutan and Jhanak as potential suspects, but Praveen Kumar insists no one by those names resides there. Rihaan maintains he is simply fulfilling his duty. Anirudh demands evidence, asserting their family’s integrity. Villagers show up to support Vihaan’s family.
Mrinalini’s father visits Dadu and Dadi to discuss Mrinalini and Choton’s upcoming marriage. He expresses readiness for the event but places a condition: Mrinalini must live in her family home after marriage, and Choton can visit. Amitabh is taken aback, questioning the feasibility of such an arrangement. Choton reassures Mrinalini’s father about Mrinalini’s well-being, but the condition sparks tension.

Back at the house, Anirudh instructs Bhavesh to gather everyone. Ketki vows to confront whoever is responsible. Babuji calms her down. Bhavesh gathers the women, and Ketki introduces her family members. The inspector examines the servants but clarifies the search is for a specific girl. Mrinalini’s father criticizes Shubh’s behavior, revealing his reservations about the marriage if not for their longstanding association. He insists his condition stems from concern for Mrinalini’s future. This causes friction, with Tanuja perceiving his stance as an insult. Mrinalini defends her father, while Choton doubts whether the marriage can proceed. Anirudh goes to Jhanak’s room, where she nervously asks about the police investigation. He advises her to introduce herself as Avni if questioned and reassures her that self-defense is not a crime. Despite her fear, he convinces her to wear a veil and accompany him downstairs, promising to protect her. He instructs her not to reveal anything to Vihaan yet and leaves.
