MUMBAI: The Episode starts with the village head arriving with others and questioning Vihaan about his marriage certificate. Vihaan resents their interference in his personal life and asks why they are so concerned. The village head, however, insists that he will not allow anyone to tarnish the village’s reputation. Ketki acknowledges that something wrong has occurred and promises to make it right. Arshi taunts Anirudh, telling him that he must be pleased with the situation now. She asserts that everyone should know the truth, implying that people shouldn’t hide their true identities. Anirudh responds, claiming that Arshi has only caused further turmoil for Jhanak and Vihaan. Arshi is determined, stating that she doesn’t believe Jhanak and Vihaan’s marriage actually happened and that she wants their wedding to be official.

Ketki asks Vihaan directly whether he married Jhanak or not. Jhanak, with a heavy heart, confirms that no marriage took place between her and Vihaan. The village head then confronts Vihaan, asking how he can live with Jhanak without a marriage certificate. Vihaan explains that he met Jhanak and brought her into his home, but clarifies that they didn’t share a room together. He insists that Jhanak will leave soon. Ketki accuses Jhanak of being the cause of trouble, asking whether the police came searching for her. She suggests that Jhanak must have done something wrong. She tells Vihaan that they can handle Ahaan and that Jhanak isn’t needed. Priyanshi, however, arrives and is scolded by Ketki. Praveen Kumar intervenes, mentioning that he brought Priyanshi back from the competition where she had secured second place. Jhanak appreciates Priyanshi’s achievement, supporting her.
Arshi tells Praveen Kumar that Jhanak isn’t the daughter-in-law of the house. Vihaan quickly defends Jhanak, reminding Arshi that she is his sister. Arshi coldly replies that she has never accepted Jhanak as her sister. In retaliation, Jhanak declares that she doesn’t want Arshi as her sister. She then turns to Ketki, informing her that she came for Ahaan’s sake and is ready to leave now. The village head threatens to call the police, but Praveen Kumar steps in, insisting that Jhanak hasn’t harmed anyone and has only cared for Ahaan. He tells Jhanak that she should come with him to his house, but Priyanshi urges her to stay.
Vihaan takes a stand, asserting that Jhanak is his responsibility and that she is his “Avni.” He offers to marry her if she’s willing, but Jhanak hesitates, unsure. She tells Anirudh to stay out of her personal matters. Although Jhanak expresses that she will miss Ahaan, she insists that this doesn’t mean she’s ready to marry Vihaan. She tells Vihaan that she doesn’t want sympathy, but Vihaan assures her it’s not about sympathy. He then asks again if she will marry him.
Anirudh questions Ketki about whether she would accept Jhanak and Vihaan’s marriage if it happens. Ketki reluctantly agrees that she would have to accept it for the sake of family reputation. Prachi, stepping in, says Jhanak can’t make a decision in front of everyone, and she proposes starting the wedding functions. Jhanak, unsure, heads inside. Anirudh tells Jhanak that Vihaan will keep her happy, and Arshi asks if Jhanak still holds hope for something. Jhanak responds cryptically, saying they will get their answers soon, and walks away from the group.

The next day, Jhanak expresses to Ahaan that she cannot marry Vihaan, and as a result, she must leave. She writes a letter for Vihaan, explaining her feelings. Mehek urges Jhanak to come out, but Jhanak requests a few minutes to herself. Sejal, noticing Jhanak’s prolonged absence, questions whether Jhanak has fainted due to the stress. Prachi joins in, suggesting that Jhanak may be unwell since she hasn’t eaten anything since the start of the ordeal. They go to get Vihaan to help, and just as they are about to break down the door, Jhanak steps out.
