Staying fit and eating the right food is the current need of the hour as the hot hunk Aamir Ali, who is popularly known as the Haryanwi inspector Bajrang Pandey of FIR, proclaims. Here, Aamir shares some of his fitness mantras in our lifestyle section.
Personal fitness mantra?
Eat whatever is easily available and then burn calories by working out.
Personal diet mantra?
Firstly, one shouldn’t follow my diet since I have a higher metabolism rate as I eat a lot.
Are you a foodie?
Yes.
Exercise routine?
I work out thrice a week and for the remaining two days I play sports. I am playing badminton currently to stay fit.
Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg?
I am a complete non- vegetarian.
Favourite cuisine?
I usually have a lot of Punjabi dishes and also various Delhi food specialties.
Favourite dish?
I love having any dish which includes mushrooms.
A must on your breakfast table?
Coconut water is a must on my breakfast table.
Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee?
I think tea/coffee with sugar is always the best in order to have a fresh start.
Lunch generally consists of?
My lunch generally consists of rice and sabzi.
Dinner generally consists of?
I prefer having light dinner and hence I munch on roti along with chicken.
Dessert delights?
I am not really into eating sweets.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)?
All types of juices.
My favourite drink (alcoholic)?
I don’t consume alcohol at all.
Most unusual dish I have tasted?
Sushi is the most unusual dish I have ever tasted.
Experiment with food?
I don’t cook much however if I had a chance I would love to experiment with crabs.
On the streets I love to have?
Various kinds of chaats.
Do you cook?
No.
Fitness tip?
The moment you stop fitting into your jeans, you need to start working out. You should always try and stay fit.
