The increasing lack of physical fitness does degenerate our well being. The very chirpy and bubbly Mihika Varma certainly knows how to keep her fitness regime intact without any snags. The vivacious actress who is currently seen in Ye Hai Mohabbatein shares some of her fitness tips. Have a look. Personal fitness mantra? People don’t take walking seriously. In order to stay fit walking for 45 minutes daily is a must. Personal diet mantra? There should be no intake of carbohydrates in excess quantities especially after late evenings. Are you a foodie? I am big time foodie. Exercise routine? Running on the beach is the most convenient exercise routine. Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg? I am a non vegetarian. However I don’t consume sea food and red meat. Favourite cuisine? Chinese. I can eat Chinese all day long. Favourite dish? Gajar ka halwa that my mum prepares is the best. A must on your breakfast table? As a woman, I think two boiled eggs should be a must along with cereals such as oats. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee? Tea/ coffee with sugar are generally preferable. Lunch generally consists of? My lunch is never a heavy one; it usually consists of two rotis and sabji. Dinner generally consists of? Dinner is more of a chicken incorporated dish. Whatever the dish may be, chicken is a must. Dessert delights? Red velvet cake. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)? Fresh Lime Soda My favourite drink (alcoholic)? Red wine Most unusual dish I have tasted? I had been to Goa with my family and I ate a prawn without being aware that it was uncooked. Experiment with food? I have never tried cooking and therefore I have never experimented with cooking. On the streets I love to have? It has to be pani puri, after all it’s the best street food Mumbai could offer. Do you cook? No. Not at all. Fitness tip? The best fitness tip is to meditate. Nowadays there’s a lot going on in the human mind, one needs to flush that out. The mind speaks only if there is no resistance in the body. Keeping the mind healthy is more important than working out in some fancy gym.
