The very pretty Shafaq Naaz who is currently mesmerizing viewers with her act as Kunti in Star Plus’ Mahabharat. The young actress apart from a pretty face boasts of a well toned body.
Shafaq here shares her fitness mantra for our readers.
Personal fitness mantra?
Dieting and gymming. As I don’t like working out with machines in the gym I try working out naturally and also train in kickboxing.
Personal diet mantra?
I make it a point to control myself and not overeat. I also try eating light healthy food and a liquid diet is a no-no.
Are you a foodie?
I can proudly say that I am a big time foodie but in a good way. I eat less and the right food.
Exercise routine?
Around two hours of working out like kickboxing and natural workout when I am at home. And when I am shooting in Umergaon I try to do jogging and also take the stairs of the 14 floors building six-seven times.
Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg?
I am a non-vegetarian.
Favourite cuisine?
I can have anything but it should taste good. Apart from that I like Mughlai, Chinese & Italian.
Favourite dish?
Biryani and Rajma Chicken.
A must on your breakfast table?
Tea, boiled eggs and oats.
Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee?
I always have black coffee without sugar and tea with sugar free.
Lunch generally consists of?
Dal, vegetables, salad, curd & two pieces of brown bread
Dinner generally consists of?
Soup, protein salad, butter milk, fish (Pomfret) and dal
Dessert delights?
Gulab jamun is one of my favorites but I try to avoid it.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)?
Fresh watermelon juice
My favourite drink (alcoholic)?
I am a non alcoholic person.
Most unusual dish I have tasted?
Once in Thailand I ordered for Thai curry and due to language and communication problem they brought something else which was a mixture of sea foods like prawns, different type of fishes, Octopus and crabs. It was awful in taste.
Experiment with food?
I love experimenting with food as long as it tastes good. Mostly I love experimenting with non-veg food.
On the streets I love to have?
Paani puri , bhel and protein salad
Do you cook?
Yes. Of course I do.
Fitness tip?
Workout properly, diet but never stop eating. Make a proper diet chart and follow it properly and always concentrate on your fitness.
