MUMBAI:Akshat asks Mangal to promise she’ll come the next day, and she agrees. Just then, Adit calls Akshat inside. Meanwhile, Sowmya steps out as Mangal gets a call from Kapil. Adit notices Mangal still there and thinks, “If Sowmya sees her, she’ll kill me.” At that moment, Akshat opens the door, accidentally making Sowmya fall.
Mangal tells Kapil she’ll come on her own and cuts the call. She then asks Adit if he’s agreed to work with Kapil. He says he has no choice, and Mangal responds that it’s a good decision. She inquires about Ishana and requests to meet her. Adit explains that Ishana is on a school trip and she can meet her next time. Akshat apologizes to Sowmya, who scolds him to be careful. He nods and goes inside, while Sowmya wonders where Adit is.
Mangal reminds Adit about the 10 a.m. meeting and tells him to be on time. Adit agrees and goes in, closing the door. Sowmya asks why he looks tense—if he failed to get an investor. Adit lies, saying he did get one, starts tomorrow, and has agreed to all terms, including contributing to household expenses. When she asks who his boss is, he hides the truth.
Elsewhere, Kapil asks Pratima what she’s doing. She says she’s preparing the pooja guest list and mentions Mangal helped her, wondering why she hasn’t returned home. Kapil assures her Mangal will come. When Pratima asks for 5 lakhs to make gold bangles for Mangal as a gift if she agrees to marry him, Kapil tells her not to think about it. Not wanting to hurt her, he asks her not to bring up marriage with Mangal yet. She makes him promise to tell her when the time is right. Kapil agrees and leaves, and Pratima decides to buy the bangles with Kusum’s help.
Kusum gets emotional seeing Akshat. Akshat tries to tell her about Mangal, but Adit stops him upon seeing Sowmya and takes Akshat away, warning him not to bring up Mangal with Kusum, who’s still upset. Later, Akshat video calls Mangal. Adit, in a hurry, tells him to end the call and give back his phone. Mangal agrees. Just then, Sowmya enters and asks why Akshat is using Adit’s phone. Adit lies that he was playing a game and takes the phone.

As Adit leaves for work, Sowmya gets into the car and tells him to take a cab. Adit tries but can’t find one. Mangal stops her car to offer a lift, but Adit refuses, and she drives off. Adit reaches the office at 10:10 a.m., but his entry card doesn’t work due to the delay. The receptionist warns him that Mangal is strict about punctuality. Adit pleads for a chance, but Mangal rebukes him and leaves with Kapil for the meeting.
