MUMBAI: Mangal tells Kapil that she will try to make Ishana understand right from wrong, and now that she’s back, she will protect her. Kapil praises her resilience, saying that while some people break under pain, others like her transform it into strength. He calls her a true fighter and insists that only she can genuinely care for her daughter. When Kapil starts sneezing and is drenched, Mangal notices and takes him inside. Sowmya sees him and wonders who he is.

Kusum warmly welcomes Kapil and asks about his unexpected visit. Kapil explains he came for Mangal’s urgent signature. Mangal hands him a towel. Kusum reminds him that this is his home too and asks Mangal to give Adit’s clothes to Kapil. Kapil changes into them, and Kusum compliments how well the outfit suits him. Adit arrives, surprised to see Kapil, and questions his presence. Kusum explains Kapil came for urgent work. Adit fumes, asking why Kapil is wearing his clothes. Kapil responds with a sharp look. Mangal brings Kapil some kadha, which he praises. Adit reminds Kapil about his work, and Kapil asks Mangal to verify the documents. She agrees but tells him to finish the kadha first. Sowmya watches the interaction closely.
Later, in their room, Adit vents to Sowmya about Kapil acting as if it’s his house. Sowmya asks why someone else was sent for Mangal’s signature instead of Adit himself. Adit reveals that Kapil isn’t just any employee—he’s the owner, Kapil Bhatnagar. Sowmya sarcastically remarks that Mangal seems to be trapping two men at once and questions what makes her so special. Adit stays silent. Mangal overhears and enters.
Mangal confronts Sowmya, accusing her of having a cheap mindset and warns her not to question her character or judge others by her own standards. Sowmya retorts that anyone can see the chemistry between Mangal and Kapil. Mangal firmly states they are just friends and business partners. When Sowmya asks if they’re “just friends” like her and Adit, Mangal sharply replies that their relationship is nothing like Sowmya’s—it is open and pure, whereas Sowmya and Adit kept theirs hidden because it was wrong. At that moment, Kapil calls Mangal. Sowmya taunts her to engage in “love talk.” Mangal responds that she doesn’t need to hide who she’s talking to—unlike Adit, who changed names to cover up his actions. She reminds them of their betrayal and vows not to let it happen again.
Later, while preparing puris, Mangal stops Akshat from playing. Akshat argues, and during the tussle, Ishana’s headphones get broken. Ishana arrives, furious, and blames Mangal, accusing her of being controlling and selfish. She declares the headphones useless and storms off. Even Akshat refuses to speak to Mangal.
As Mangal cooks, she reflects on the harsh words and accidentally burns her hand. Adit notices and rushes to help, applying ice. Sowmya watches with jealousy. Later, she goes to the bedroom, determined to teach Adit a lesson for feeling Mangal’s pain.

When Adit enters the room, surprised to see it filled with candles, he assumes Sowmya planned a surprise. However, she pretends to be asleep. He lies on the bed but finds it wet and asks why. Sowmya wakes up and admits she did it intentionally—to remind him how he helped Mangal when she was burned.
