MUMBAI:Adit asks Sowmya if she was locked in the room, and she confirms, blaming Mangal. Shanti defends Mangal, leading to an argument where Sowmya angrily pushes her. Mangal urges Sowmya to respect her mother. Shocked by the commotion, guests question the family’s turmoil and leave, along with the pandit.

Shanti insinuates that Sowmya’s behavior is irrational due to thandai, while Kusum scolds her for creating a scene. Sowmya confronts Mangal, accusing her of pretending to be Adit’s wife. Meanwhile, Niketan informs his mother about the tension between Adit and Sowmya. Suddenly, a vase breaks, and Adit, wheeling toward the noise, nearly tips over when someone shuts the door. Mangal tries to help, but Sowmya shoves her aside, asserting her right to care for Adit. In a surprising moment, Mangal regains her voice, delighting everyone.
Adit senses someone’s presence in the room, but Sudhesh finds no one, dismissing it as the wind. Suspicious, Adit scolds Sowmya for her actions. She lies, claiming she fasted for him and was unjustly locked up. Meanwhile, Kusum suspects Shanti and pressures her for the truth. Shanti admits her role but defends her actions, and Kusum, though reluctant, agrees to drop the matter.
Adit reassures Sowmya that he will reveal the truth about their relationship at the right time. Meanwhile, Mangal, preoccupied with the competition, is shaken by Sowmya’s taunts. Kusum seeks Ishana’s help, but she refuses. The next morning, Kusum finds scattered papers and questions Mangal, who reveals she didn’t sleep. Sowmya arrives and mocks Mangal, predicting her elimination.
At the competition, Mangal hesitates when the judges ask for the product name. Meanwhile, Niketan informs the organizers of her situation to create drama.
Parallelly, Karthik prepares to see his reflection, but the power goes out. Gayatri arrives as Karthik leaves for a ride. Jia and Gayatri scold Lakshmi, who insists she’s following the doctor’s advice to help Karthik regain his memory. Gayatri, enraged, accuses Lakshmi of trying to erase her presence and throws her out of the house. Lakshmi hits her head on a flowerpot and falls unconscious.
Jia coldly remarks that Lakshmi’s fate is sealed—soon, Jia will be the house’s bahu. Seeing Karthik return, Jia quickly hides Lakshmi under dry leaves and distracts him. A worker, unaware of Lakshmi beneath the pile, prepares to set it on fire.

Meanwhile, Raghuveer, on a call with Sanjana, learns the truth and confronts Gayatri, warning her that if anything happens to Lakshmi, he will expose her to Karthik. Gayatri insists he won’t, but Raghuveer stands firm. Unaware of the danger, the worker searches for matches to ignite the leaves, while Karthik senses something is wrong.
