Meanwhile, Pratima plans a surprise birthday party for Mangal and instructs the receptionist to invite the entire staff. Kapil overhears and warns that Mangal might prefer a quiet family gathering over a public celebration. Pratima dismisses his concerns, insisting everyone loves surprises. Kapil argues that Mangal dislikes such attention, but Pratima ignores him.

Elsewhere, Sowmya reminds Adit of their six-month anniversary, asking him to apply sindoor in her hair. She suggests dinner at 8 p.m., but Adit hesitates. She insists he doesn’t need to overwork and should leave by 7 p.m. Adit agrees, though Sowmya suspects he’s hiding something—she overheard he has work tonight and wonders if he’ll choose her or his job.
Later, Pratima invites Kusum to the surprise party for her “future daughter-in-law.” At the office, Mangal notices odd behavior from her colleagues. Pratima arrives unexpectedly early and informs Mangal of an 8 p.m. conference with a strict dress code, handing her a saree. Suspicious, Mangal checks with Kapil, who lies, confirming the fake event. After hanging up, he mutters about being roped into his mother’s scheme.
Adit, overwhelmed with work, gets another task from Kapil—picking up a cake. Annoyed, he complies but is shocked to see it’s for Mangal’s birthday. As he loads it into his car, he ignores a call. Sowmya, frustrated by Adit’s silence, accidentally knocks over his bag and discovers a Pehla Swad poster and a banquet hall contact. Calling the number, she learns Adit is at a birthday party for his boss—likely Mangal’s. Fearing he’s reconnecting with his ex-wife, she gets the venue address and rushes there.
At the party venue, Adit wonders why Mangal is receiving such grand treatment. As he prepares to leave for his dinner with Sowmya, a staff member mistakes him for a delivery boy before recognizing him. Madhu and Lipika arrive, with Lipika thrilled about the celebration. Adit spots Lipika, his expression uneasy. Meanwhile, Sowmya grows increasingly anxious, questioning Adit’s loyalty.
