MUMBAI:Neerja looks at her and Protima’s picture and says you have always shown me light in darkness and today I need you the most and I know you are still around to support me. Neerja remembers her promises made to Protima.

Abeer walks to Neerja and sits beside her. Neerja tells Abeer she wants to become a Lawyer and make her own identity and study law, she doesn’t want to be known as someone from Sonagachi. Neerja says to Abeer, Maa always guided me she wanted me to have my own identity. Abeer says to her, I am here for you and from tomorrow itself we will work towards your dream.
Neerja and Abeer prepare for her enrollment in law college. Abeer offers curd sugar for good luck. Amidst family disapproval, they set off. Trisha, observing from afar, plots against Neerja’s admission.
At the law college, they face rejection due to admissions being closed. Trisha’s interference from a distance hampers Neerja’s chances. Multiple colleges reject her, citing her background from Sonagachi.
Abeer encourages her, and they try another college. There, they’re asked to wait, and Neerja prays to Goddess Saraswati for help. Finally, Abeer gets a lead from a college but realizes they need original certificates from Sonagachi.

Abeer threatens the college staff to secure Neerja’s admission, contingent upon the original study certificates from Sonagachi. Meanwhile, Trisha, in disguise, manipulates Neerja’s caretaker to destroy the certificates. When Neerja and Abeer reach there, chaos ensues as Shabbo Rani prevents their entry while Trisha sabotages the certificates. Neerja is horrified to see her documents burning and questions Didun’s involvement. Didun says to Neerja, she has no time for all the nonsense she cleaned up everything to make room for new girl. Neerja says to Didun, someone has definitely informed her and so she has destroyed the certificates.
