MUMBAI:The Episode starts with Digvijay stepping out of the operation theatre and informing the patient’s family that the patient is out of danger. However, instead of relief, the family blames him for their father’s condition. Alisha intervenes, calming the situation and taking Digvijay to her cabin. She then invites him to have dinner with her, knowing he will be staying overnight. Meanwhile, Digvijay senses that Rani was worried and had something important to share with him.
Rani grows restless while waiting for Digvijay to return home. She calls him, but Alisha answers instead and starts lecturing her. Rani asks Alisha to let Digvijay know to call her when he gets free, but Alisha dismisses her, suggesting she should just sleep since Digvijay is busy. Rani stays up all night and, in the morning, takes a pregnancy test. The result is positive.
When Digvijay finally returns home, Narayani asks Rani to come out of the bathroom, as Digvijay wants to take a bath. In a hurry, Rani tosses the pregnancy test kit outside, and it lands on Pinky’s head. Pinky picks it up, immediately suspecting that someone in the house is pregnant. Meanwhile, Digvijay asks Rani why she had called him, but she hesitates to reveal the truth. Just then, Ishaan arrives to inform Digvijay that Rohit has been invited to a party to celebrate his fatherhood. Digvijay reacts angrily upon hearing that Rohit has chosen to become a parent, leaving Rani disheartened. Sensing Digvijay’s frustration, Ishaan comments that he still has time before considering having a child. Digvijay, however, firmly suggests he should wait at least 8-10 years. Rani worries that if Digvijay is this upset about his friend’s decision, he will be even angrier upon learning about her pregnancy.
Narayani calls Rani to the kitchen while Pinky stops Devu, but Devu insists on going since Narayani is calling her. During breakfast, the family praises Rani for preparing a royal feast, making Pinky jealous. Narayani insists Rani sit and enjoy the meal, even serving her favorite dish with warmth. Overwhelmed with emotions, Rani thanks Narayani, and Digvijay jokingly tells her to eat without hesitation, as his mother is not a dictator. Narayani then advises Rani to learn how to take care of the family members. While Rani appreciates the kindness of Narayani and the family, she still believes something isn’t right. Narayani then reminds everyone to get ready for the Holika Dahan puja.
Later, Rani tries to confide in Devu, but Pinky notices and starts eavesdropping. Devu encourages Rani to stay happy since it is their first Holi after marriage. Just as Rani is about to reveal her secret, she realizes Pinky is listening. Pinky then suggests that Devu should take care of herself these days, but Devu insists she is fine and that Rani is the one who should get checked. Digvijay invites his gynecologist friend to attend the puja and check on Rani. Pinky presses Devu to get examined, but Devu assures her that she is perfectly healthy. Rani, however, becomes anxious about what will happen next.
Rani takes Digvijay’s friend to her room, where the doctor expresses surprise at Digvijay stepping up to take responsibility. The doctor then begins asking Rani about her symptoms. Meanwhile, Pinky slyly suggests to Narayani that Devu also needs a check-up, as she suspects Devu might be pregnant. Narayani, shocked and angered, begins searching for Devu. Madhuri informs Narayani that Devu has gone to her room to rest.
As the doctor examines Rani, she reassures Digvijay that everything is fine. Rani, however, feels guilty for hiding the truth. Meanwhile, Narayani knocks on Ishaan and Devu’s room, demanding to see Devu. Ishaan explains that Devu is tired and feeling weak. However, Narayani insists that Devu must get checked by the doctor, convinced that she is pregnant. Both Ishaan and Rani are taken aback by Narayani’s reaction, and Rani starts wondering if Devu is indeed expecting.
