This Friday, popular character artists in the industry – Boman Irani, Sanjay Mishra, Ram Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla talk to Anupama Chopra about what it’s like to be a supporting actor, what they would change if they could and much more! With their formidable acting talent, these supporting actors have played critical roles in films like 3 Idiots, the recently released Ankhon Dekhi, Udaan and Barfi.
When asked if the difference between supporting actors and lead heroes is now blurred, Saurabh Shukla said, “Kahin filmon mein yeh line dhundhli ho gayihain. Kyonki ab ensemble cast ke films bhi hai. Jinmein hero type ek character nahi hai jiskeirdh-girdh story hoti hai.”

“Ekcheez to mujhe bohut pasand aayi jo change aayehain, wo ye haay ki jo high concept low budget film thi, unko logon ne accept karna shurukiya,” said Subhash Ghai when asked about what changes he’s seen in the industry.
