In this horror-thriller, some of literature's most terrifying characters, including Dr. Frankenstein and his Creature, Dorian Gray, along with some of the iconic figures from the novel Dracula lurk in the darkest corners of Victorian London. They are joined by Vanessa Ives (Bond-girl Eva Green), Timothy Dalton (ex-Bond) and Josh Hartnett (30 Days of Night) who form unlikely alliances to hunt down greater evil.
This frightening psychological thriller is created, written and executive produced by three-time Oscar® nominee John Logan (Hugo, The Aviator, Gladiator), along with Oscar® winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Skyfall).
After the massive success of season 1, this season is something to look forward to. It opens with Vanessa Ives and her allies finding themselves locked in epic battle against an unholy evil.
Rated 8.2 on IMDb, Penny Dreadful has won many awards in its first season including the prestigious Teen Choice Television Series Award for Most Exciting New Series.
On the special occasion of Halloween, AXN brings for its viewers a thrilling way to celebrate with their family and friends. Across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, AXN is celebrating Midnight Screamathon with its viewers by throwing midnight parties, first time ever in the category.
