MUMBAI: TV actors often complain about not being able to maintain a healthy work-life balance, however, actor Rishina Kandhari says that it is all about time management. The Aye Mere Humsafar actor says that her family has always supported her in this endeavour. "Where there’s a will there’s away! I’ve been managing both my duties beautifully of an actor and of a homemaker. I lead a very disciplined life and I guess that’s the secret of me managing my home and career together. I agree that it’s a little tough, but I’ve got my family as my backbone. Thanks to the Lord for giving me such an amazing bunch of people in my life that whenever I get stuck in any bad situation, they rescue me somehow," she says.
It is because of this discipline that she is able to follow a strict fitness regime too. "Being fit is not a choice with me, it’s a habit. My day starts at 5 am and ends max by 11 pm. And once in a while, I go for a night out with friends to unwind after work," she says.
The fact that she loves her craft also helps her perform better. "My job as an actor is something I enjoy the most. When you enjoy what you do, you look forward to going to work every day. It’s the same in my situation," she says.
