Bhum chants Mahadev’s name, causing the asurs holding him captive to lose their grip. He confronts Andhakasur, reminding him of his three heinous crimes, starting with blinding Brahma, and vows to put an end to his evil deeds and punish him once and for all. Andhakasur mocks Bhum, reminding him of the boon he received from Brahma that unless Andhakasur views his own mother with an evil perspective, no one can kill him, making him seemingly invincible. Bhum challenges Andhakasur to back his words with action. Andhakasur accepts the challenge, and a fierce battle ensues, with neither willing to back down.
The continued clash between Mahadev and Narayan wreaks havoc —oceans flood, mountains crumble, trees are uprooted, and the entire world quakes under their might. Torrential rain begins to pour. Diti, witnessing the chaos, initially attributes it to her son’s powers. However, she is soon informed that the destruction stems from the battle between Narayan and Mahadev. Delighted, she considers it even better news.
Efforts are made to persuade Mahadev and Narayan to end their fight and cease the destruction. Narad urges Devi Parvati to intervene, as she alone can resolve the crisis. However, Devi Parvati hesitates, explaining that both Mahadev and Narayan are committed to truth and justice, and their actions are aligned with these principles. She adds that while there is a solution to stop the chaos, it involves a path she is reluctant to take. At one critical moment, Mahadev challenges Narayan, declaring that he will enslave him. He readies his bow and arrow, aiming it at Narayan. Mahadev asserts that his weapon never misses its mark and always fulfills its purpose. As he releases the arrow, he warns Narayan to prepare to reveal the truth about Andhakasur.
