Well, he was a top science student at Little Flower High School in Hyderabad.
Also, for the uninitiated, VVS Laxman’s parents Dr Shantaram and Dr Satyabhama were noted physicians.
The cricketer was studying medicine when a call by the BCCI changed the course of his life.
